Frequently asked questions

Will this bar make my hair feel waxy?

Unlikely! Our 3-in-1 bars are syndet bars, meaning they don't contain saponified oils, which are usually the cause of greasy and waxy-feeling hair.

Can I use this bar if I have sensitive skin?

We chose mild ingredients such as glycerin, jojoba oil, aloe vera and panthenol.

Minty Cactus contains fragrance (parfum) and menthol, so if your skin is sensitive or you know you react to fragrances, try it on a small patch of skin first. If your skin gets irritated, stop using it.

Does it really work on hair, body and face?

That is what the bar is made for. It is one gentle cleansing base used from head to toe, which is why it can replace three bottles in a wash kit.

Is it a "classic" soap bar?

No, Rinsed is not exactly a soap bar.

Instead of using saponified oils, we use Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, a coconut-derived ingredient making our bars creamy and foamy.

That difference shows up in hard water. Soap based bars react with the calcium in hard water and leave a fine film behind, which leaves your hair feeling waxy or greasy.

Our bars - called syndet bars - don't have that effect and are developed to leave your hair feeling smooth and easy to comb through.

Do I still need conditioner?

Some people do and some people do not, and it mostly depends on hair length and type. Longer or colour treated hair often prefers a conditioner afterwards, shorter hair often does not.

Are your bars vegan?

Yes, our bars are 100% vegan and animal-cruelty free.
